My sincere condolences and regret that I couldn't be back in person to join you at this difficult moment. Joan's concern about gobbledygook is definitely in good hands. Last week I put gobbledygook on the record in an inquiry of the European Commission. I felt like Mia was looking at me at the end of the stream/video. Joan has an amazing legacy in Catherine, Karl and your amazing children.

Deepest condolences to you Catherine and Karl. Your mother was a very special person and a great teacher. I remember her time in Birchip when I taught as a CRT and she taught Erin. Every one she taught I think would have been a good and keen reader, learned to knit and improved their writing. You spoke beautifully Karl about her. She certainly did her very best for you two and her classes. I am so pleased she had four lovely grandchildren as she would have been a very good grandmother. Thinking of you all today.
